Titus Burns wins his 5th Player
of the Week award. American League pitchers couldn't
figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Titus
was on fire, hitting .625 with 4 HR and 13 RBI. He
got at least one hit each game this week and is on
a 7 game hitting streak right now. This year Burns
drove in 67 and scored 77 runs while batting .360 with
22 longballs. He's 4th in the American League in batting
and 7th in RBI! The National League Player of the Week
award goes to Bill Hutt, Florida's
starting shortstop. Bill went 9 for 24 (.375), while
hitting 5 HR and collecting 13 RBI.
